How Quill & Reed works with UK authors
Every project is run remotely: manuscripts and files are exchanged securely, conversations happen by video or phone, and proofs and approvals are handled digitally. There is no need to visit an office, and we do not claim local offices we do not have.
You stay in control throughout. Your copyright, royalties, publishing accounts, domain and mailing list remain yours, and Quill & Reed takes no standard royalty percentage.
Support is available at different stages, so you can come to us with an idea, a draft, a finished manuscript or a book that is already published.

Yes. Quill & Reed works with authors throughout England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Every project runs remotely, so your location does not limit what is available.
Do you have local offices?
No. There is one Quill & Reed, working remotely. We do not have offices in the cities listed on this page; those pages exist to explain how we work with authors there and what local context may be useful.
Are prices different in different cities?
No. Prices are the same everywhere in the UK and are set out on the pricing page.
My town is not listed. Can you still help?
Yes. The list is a starting point, not a boundary. We work with authors anywhere in the UK.
Do I keep my copyright and royalties?
Yes. You keep your copyright and royalties, and publishing accounts, domain and mailing list are set up in your name. Quill & Reed takes no standard royalty percentage.
