What we have done

• Readable text sizes, generous spacing and a comfortable line length for long guides
• Strong colour contrast between text and background
• A “skip to content” link and full keyboard navigation, with visible focus
• Clear headings and labelled form fields, with errors explained in words
• Search that opens with Ctrl+K, ⌘+K or / and closes with Esc
• Tables that stack on small screens, and print-friendly guides
• Motion kept to a minimum; the suggestion card can be dismissed

Known limitations

We have not yet commissioned an independent accessibility audit, so we do not claim to meet a particular standard. Some PDF files you upload to the Health Check may not be readable if they are scanned images; pasting the text works instead.
